The product price includes 5 years' warranty and 30 day money back guarantee.
However, the Gear4music extended warranty scheme provides an enhanced service, and is designed to offer a higher level of protection than many 'free' warranties offered by some retailers and manufacturers.
The highlights of this enhanced warranty service are:
Please note that this extended warranty is currently only available on products sold within the UK, EU or EEA, and is subject to the terms and conditions as detailed on the extended warranty certificate provided.
For customers in outlying areas of the country, the price of the Extended Warranty may be marginally higher, due to the potential for higher collection and redelivery transport costs.
This enhanced warranty is in addition to the standard Gear4music and manufacturer warranty policies, and the Gear4music terms and conditions of trade. No statement or condition of sale contained within these terms affects or restricts your statutory rights as defined under the Consumer Contracts Regulation 2014.

Key Features
The Universal Audio Volt 4 MAX Audio Interface is built for musicians, producers and content creators, equipped with unique onboard sound shaping controls to suit any source. Its two Tone Shaping Preamps give you Warmth, Focus, and Shine modes, letting you choose between tube, solid-state, and British Class-A-inspired characters before recording.
Product Ref: 393012
Volt 4 MAX gives you three Tone Shaping Preamp modes across its two 60dB-gain preamps. Warmth, Focus, and Shine provide harmonic characters inspired by tube, solid-state, and British Class-A microphone preamps, helping you establish the right starting point before audio reaches your software.
Max dynamics processing adds another layer, with six realtime compressor presets tuned for sources including vocals, guitar, and bass. Combining the Tone and Max settings gives you more than 18 character combinations. This makes it easy to explore different recording sounds directly from the interface without building a complicated processing chain first.
Recording at up to 32-bit/192kHz, Volt 4 MAX is designed to retain the detail in your performances. Two mic/line inputs handle microphones and line-level equipment, while front-panel Hi-Z connections let you plug instruments straight in. Each channel also gets independent 48V phantom power for compatible condenser microphones.
Auto-Gain helps you establish an appropriate input level in seconds, and Clip Protection responds to unexpected signal peaks. That means less time watching meters when you would rather concentrate on the take. Clear speaker monitoring and two studio-quality headphone outputs then help you hear your recording throughout tracking and mixing.
A desktop interface does not have to limit your setup. Alongside its analogue connections, Volt 4 MAX provides an optical input supporting ADAT or S/PDIF, with ADAT allowing up to eight additional digital input channels.
MIDI In and Out make it straightforward to connect controllers, synthesizers, and other MIDI equipment, while the onboard USB hub can accommodate peripherals and power external MIDI controllers. Main and Alt speaker switching also lets you move between two monitor sets. Plus, integration with UAD Console and LUNA provides session recall and low-latency cue mixes, helping the interface fit into more developed recording setups.
Volt 4 MAX has useful tools beyond conventional music recording. Built-in loopback lets you combine live inputs with computer audio, making it suited to podcasts, livestreams, and other content where multiple audio sources need to meet inside one production. The integrated talkback microphone gives you a simple way to communicate with performers during sessions. Meanwhile, the full-colour Smart Display provides clear visual information for inputs, settings, levels, and gain reduction.
Mac, Windows, iPad, and iPhone compatibility gives you plenty of choice over your recording platform. A substantial software collection is included too, covering LUNA, UAD processors, instruments, guitar amps, and additional production tools.
