The WA-8000 is built around a custom dual-diaphragm, centre-terminated capsule developed to closely follow the design principles of a renowned large-diaphragm microphone capsule. This component plays a major role in shaping the microphone's character, helping it deliver a detailed and articulate recording across the full frequency spectrum.
High sensitivity allows subtle performance dynamics to come through clearly, making it a strong choice for lead vocals, backing vocals, acoustic instruments, piano, and spoken word applications. At the core of the WA-8000 is a NOS 6AU6 vacuum tube.
