Bring every instrument together
The NTS-4 is built to simplify compact hardware setups by bringing multiple instruments into one unified mixer. Four stereo channels and two mono channels allow connection of up to ten audio signals, making it easy to combine volca units, NTS instruments, desktop synths and other electronic gear.
Each channel features dedicated level control, mute switching, CUE monitoring and FX send functionality, giving you direct access to the controls that matter during performance. Because all audio inputs use compact 3.5 mm connections, cable management stays tidy and efficient. The result is a cleaner setup that helps you spend less time managing routing and more time creating music.
Create movement with built-in effects
Integrated effects processing gives you extensive sound-shaping options without increasing the size of your rig. Two independent stereo SEND FX engines can be assigned across channels, allowing you to add ambience and texture where needed.
Delay, ping pong delay, hall reverb, slap reverb and chorus effects help create width, depth and motion within your mix. Beyond channel processing, the TOTAL FX section works across the full output. Filters, flanger, phaser, decimator, drive, distortion, compressor and limiter effects provide additional control over the overall character of your performance. This combination makes it easy to build cohesive mixes directly from the hardware.
Built for modular and live performance
If your setup includes Eurorack equipment, the NTS-4 is designed to fit in naturally. The two mono inputs support both line-level and modular-level sources through a switchable attenuator, allowing different types of gear to work together without extra conversion hardware. Dedicated SEND and RETURN connections also make integrating external effects processors straightforward.
During performance, responsive CUE and MUTE controls help you prepare sounds before they reach the audience. Preview parts through headphones, introduce elements gradually or create sudden transitions on the fly. These practical controls provide the flexibility needed for live electronic performances and hands-on studio sessions.
Connect hardware and software with ease
USB-C connectivity allows the NTS-4 to function as both a mixer and audio interface, making it easier to integrate modern production workflows. With 24-bit audio support, you can record directly to a computer or compatible mobile device, stream performances online or route audio into your preferred DAW.
MIDI data received through USB can also be passed to external hardware via the dedicated MIDI OUT connection, helping synchronise instruments and controllers from a single source. Standard 1/4-inch main outputs ensure dependable connection to studio monitors, PA systems and recording equipment. Housed in a sturdy steel chassis and supplied as a quick-build DIY kit, the NTS-4 combines portability, durability and flexibility in one compact unit.
