The Hexdrums design combines the power of Hexinverters mutant circuits with the flexiblity of an an analog drum sequencer.

HexDrums builds its core kit from ten dedicated voices that cover real world needs. Two different bass drums give you both a tuned oscillator kick with click control and a classic damped sine option with pitch, decay, and tone, so you can blend thump and snap.
The Machine voice layers dual oscillators with a snappy noise section for everything from tuned percussion to gritty bursts. Snare, clap, and rimshot or claves each have focused controls to dial body, noise, and filter behaviour, while open and closed hats share a noise source but operate independently for realistic interplay. The result is a flexible kit that moves from traditional patterns to experimental textures without menu diving.
Crash and ride are sample based for maximum variety. Choose from ten custom sets, then tune each cymbal and shape its decay for tight hits or sustained washes. A ride loop option can repeat during the envelope for a rhythmic, delay like shimmer that sits well above dense arrangements.
Dedicated level controls on both cymbals keep balance simple. Because every analog drum has its own output, you can route the kit to your mixer or interface for individual treatment while keeping cymbals on the main bus. This hybrid approach makes it easy to build a personal signature kit and recall it at speed.
Before the main outputs, all voices can be panned in stereo, helping you place elements for width and space. Then a hi fidelity soft knee stereo compressor adds punch with threshold, ratio, blend, and selectable response times, so you can parallel compress without extra gear.
A master drive stage gives saturation from subtle warmth to snarling bite, and a wet dry blend lets you keep transient definition intact. With headphones on the front and balanced stereo out on the rear, the master section doubles as a compact mix hub that is ready for rehearsal, rigs, and recording.
