The CAD GLX3000 is designed to be the perfect ‘go-to’ microphone for a range of recording applications. The large diaphragm and three selectable pickup patterns allow you to cater to a range of input sources, from vocals to instruments. The built-in hi-pass filter and attenuator gives you added control, allowing you to minimise low frequencies when recording. The three selectable pickup patterns include: Cardioid, figure-of-eight and omnidirectional. Each pick up pattern is suited to a different application, for example the cardioid pattern will is ideal for vocal performances as it is designed to pickup sound in front of the microphone, eliminating any excess noise around it. The high sensitivity and linear frequency response produces a rich yet transparent sound, ideal for a range of studio applications.
The CAD GXL1200 Cardioid Condenser Microphones feature a small-diaphragm design with a cardioid polar pattern, ideal for sound reinforcement applications and overhead micing. The pair of condenser microphones are designed for stereo recording applications, perfect for capturing overheads and other environments where stereo imaging is needed. The wide frequency response (30Hz – 20kHz) ensures you capture every nuance of the sound you wish to record. The GXL1200 produces a transparent yet rich sound, ideal for accurate sound reproduction.
The EPF15A Pop Filter is a standard pop filter featuring an adjustable arm, designed to minimise and eliminate plosives and sibilance from vocal performances. This improves the overall quality of a vocal take by decreasing the pops and ‘ess’ sounds you may encounter with singers and other vocalists.
