Key Features
The Benchmark DAC1USB digital-to-analogue audio converter offers two channels of reference-quality, 192kHz 24-bit audio with maximum transparency. Packed into a compact, rugged enclosure complete with rack ears and finished in Black are Benchmark's UltraLock and AdvancedUSB Audio technologies, and Benchmark's HPA2 headphone power amplifier.
Product Ref: 39481
The DAC1USB features Benchmark's Ultralock™ technology, which removes virtually all jitter on any digital input signal. It accepts any input frequency between 24 and 195kHz and is fully compatible with variable-pitch applications.
AdvancedUSB Audio™ technology supports 24-bit audio at up to 96kHz, and transfers every sample of digital audio from the computer to the DAC1USB without modification. Compatible with Windows 7/Vista/XP/2000 and Max OS X, it is a true plug-and-play device that works without any need for drivers or software.
The HPA2™ headphone power amplifier is capable of driving a wide variety of headphone loads with less than 0.0003% distortion under load. It drives the DAC1USB's two 1/4" headphone jacks. The gain control sets the output level of the headphone jacks, and also controls the output level of the balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA analogue outputs.
This model of the DAC1USB is designed for rack mounting. It occupies half of a rack space, and can be mounted alone using Benchmark's rack mount kit, or in conjunction with another Benchmark module using the rack mount coupler.
