Quick sound adjustment for different setups

The AIR12 is designed to adapt quickly when your setup changes. Built-in DSP presets cover common applications such as DJ playback front-of-house use stage monitoring and speech, helping you get usable results without external processing. You can then fine-tune the sound using onboard bass and treble controls, which is useful when working in rooms with challenging acoustics.

The control system uses a simple encoder and display, so navigating settings is straightforward during setup. This keeps your workflow efficient and reduces the need for additional gear when time and space are limited.

Fuller sound with increased low-end

With its larger 12-inch low-frequency driver, the AIR12 offers more low-end presence than smaller models in the range. It uses a two-way active design with a 1.35-inch compression driver for high frequencies, delivering a balanced response across the spectrum.

Rated at 1200W dynamic power and capable of high sound pressure levels, it provides enough output for live music playback DJs and small band performances. The extended low-frequency response also helps reduce the need for a subwoofer in some setups, making it a practical option for streamlined PA systems.

Flexible inputs and simple system expansion

The AIR12 allows you to connect multiple sources directly without extra mixers in smaller setups. Two combo XLR and 1/4-inch inputs include built-in mic preamps, so you can plug in microphones or line-level equipment with ease.

A stereo 1/8-inch auxiliary input supports playback devices such as phones and tablets, which is useful for background music or quick playback. All inputs are summed internally, giving you a simple mixing solution in one cabinet. If you need to expand your system, the balanced XLR Mix Out lets you link additional speakers while maintaining the same signal.

Designed for portable and installed use

The AIR12 balances durability with portability, making it suitable for both mobile performers and fixed installations. Its multi-angle enclosure allows it to be used as a front-of-house speaker or laid on its side as a stage monitor.

A 35 mm pole mount with tilt options helps you aim the speaker more accurately toward your audience, improving coverage. For permanent setups, integrated rigging points allow suspended installation. Despite its larger size, the cabinet remains manageable to handle, with a moulded construction and steel grille designed for regular transport and use.

Extended warranty

PreSonus has extended the warranty on all AIR loudspeakers from three years to six years. The new extended warranty is effective immediately and applies to loudspeakers purchased on or after January 1, 2016.
