Key Features
The Axiom ED80PWH 8" Passive PA Speaker, White is a powerful and compact passive speaker with incredible versatility. The ED80PWH features a 8" low-frequency driver with a matched 1" compression driver, delivering balanced, articulate sound across the frequency spectrum, with aluminium voice coils to improve transient response. This speaker's asymmetrical vented enclosure lends it a wide range of potential applications, from use as a front-of-house speaker, sound reinforcement in larger venues, or as a stage monitor.
The ED80PWH's construction supports its versatility, offering a 35 mm pole mount for use on speaker stands or stacked with subwoofers, as well as M10 rigging points for suspension in venues. This passive speaker's high-frequency driver is not only rotatable, but also asymmetrical in its coverage, with a 120 degree horizontal coverage in the lower section for improved near-field sound, and 60 degree at the upper portion for better long-distance throw.

The ED80PWH offers a few unique elements in its design to help shape its sound and usability. Aluminium voice coils for both high-frequency and low-frequency drivers improve transient response and lower weight, providing improved detail and sound output. Pair this with its asymmetrical high-frequency coverage from a horn that's wider in the lower portion and narrower at the top, and you have better sound whether your audience is near to the speaker or at the very back of the venue.
This passive speaker's cabinet is built from a lightweight birch plywood, making it easy to transport for touring engineers and musicians, or for easier positioning in fixed venue installation. This speaker provides a 35 mm pole mount for use on stands or speaker poles, as well as M10 rigging points, allowing for suspension with mounting brackets.
