The Sterling Majesty 7, Arctic Dream is a bold and innovative 7-string designed in close collaboration with John Petrucci, bringing together striking looks and effortless playability. Built with a nyatoh body and a set-in 3-piece neck, the Majesty offers superb resonance and sustain, while its sculpted design makes it one of the most comfortable extended-range guitars you?ll ever pick up. Finished in the dazzling Arctic Dream colourway, it?s a guitar that not only plays brilliantly but also looks stunning under stage lights. With its sleek lines and easy upper fret access, the Majesty is built for players who demand more.
Fitted with dual ceramic humbuckers, the Majesty 7 delivers a powerful tonal range with plenty of clarity across the low B and beyond. The 3-way pickup selector and push/push 12dB volume boost open up a wide spectrum of sounds, from tight and articulate rhythm tones to soaring leads that cut straight through the mix. A rosewood fingerboard with 24 medium jumbo frets makes for smooth bends and precise runs, while the modern tremolo and locking tuners ensure tuning stability through the heaviest playing. Complete with Ernie Ball Regular Slinky 7-string sets, this guitar is stage-ready right out of the box.

Seven strings, zero mud. The Sterling Majesty 7, Arctic Dream runs two ceramic humbuckers voiced for punchy rhythm and fluid leads, so the low B stays tight and defined under gain. A simple 3-way selector gets you from chunky chugs to singing sustain fast, while the onboard 12dB push/push boost gives instant lift for solos without touching your pedalboard. It’s a broad, modern palette that still sits neatly in a busy mix
Built for speed and comfort, the set-in 3-piece nyatoh neck pairs a 16" radius rosewood fingerboard with 24 medium jumbo frets, welcoming low action and clean bends. The 25.5" scale keeps tension balanced across all seven strings, so riffs lock in and legato flows. Neck widths of 49.5mm at the nut and 66mm at the last fret give roomy spacing for complex voicings, while the sculpted Majesty heel makes upper-fret runs feel natural
A modern tremolo brings shimmer and dive options without wrecking tuning, backed by locking tuners for quick string changes and rock-solid intonation. The dual-action truss rod makes seasonal tweaks straightforward, and the streamlined controls (master volume with boost plus tone) keep your hands on the music, not the knobs. From rehearsal to showtime, it’s a dependable workhorse that handles heavy sets and travel with minimal fuss
The sleek nyatoh body wears the iridescent Arctic Dream finish that shifts under stage lights, delivering a premium look to match the performance. The ergonomic Majesty silhouette hugs close to the body, balancing well on a strap for long gigs. Subtle JP inlays add the right touch of signature flair without shouting
