Fortin KEY input technology

The Mini Zuul’s KEY input system allows the gate to respond directly to your clean guitar signal rather than the noisy, heavily processed signal later in the chain. This intelligent design keeps the gating behaviour fast, accurate and highly musical, even in extremely high-gain rigs. Because the pedal reacts only to the natural dynamics of your instrument, unwanted hiss, hum and floor noise are eliminated without awkward chopping or unnatural gate behaviour. The result is a far tighter and more natural feel than many traditional noise gate designs can achieve.

Transparent high-performance gating

Fortin designed the Mini Zuul to operate with virtually no tonal coloration, preserving the feel, attack and frequency response of your amplifier and pedals.
