The Fender Limited Edition '65 Strat Deluxe Closet Classic is an instrument of utter beauty. Just as any prized instrument would be, the '65 Strat looks as if it has been routinely cleaned, maintained, and polished over the years. It presents a worn-in look that has matured and mellowed over the years, offering a developed feel and aesthetic not found on any new guitar.
This attention to detail spans over ever inch of the guitar, and is particularly noticeable on the neck, where the finish has been rubbed down to un ultra-smooth satin, showing off the spectacular grain pattern boasted by the 3A flamed maple wood.
The finest sixties tones
Unlock your creativity. Equipped with three painstakingly hand-wound Fat '60s pickups, the Custom Shop '65 Strat serves up a host of accurate '60s tones. Even better, they've got an extra shot of low-end growl so your notes will hit with a modern punch. This extends to a sweet, warm tonality with a distinct articulation, letting every detail of your playing stand out.
And with the middle position being reverse wound for hum-cancelling, you'll always enjoy immaculate clarity in your riffs and licks. But Fender have gone a step further with these single coils and added 1/2 Blender wiring to allow you to blend the bridge and neck pickups for a thicker, dynamic sound.
