Sculpted for perfection
The Epiphone SG’s body has been sculpted from mahogany. With its elegant contours for a unique style. Not only does this material offer a comfortable experience, but also delivers a well-balanced tone to your overall sound. To couple with the mahogany body, the SG also comes with a bolt-on solid mahogany neck, fitted with a pau ferro composite fingerboard. The combination of these provide luxury as you play due to their natural and supportive feel.
Its fretboard comes adored with twenty-two frets, which provides you with wide tonal range to experiment with. These woods also contribute towards the incredible voicing that this model produces by adding a warm and mellow tone, with complex highs, thick and creamy lows, and an appealing midrange.
