The Tanglewood TW28 CLVS is constructed with a cedar top that delivers a balanced, warm sound, particularly favoured by fingerstyle players for its signature quick, rich response to the lighter playing style. Mahogany back and sides complement the cedar top by providing punch and projection with extra warmth and definition. The cedar and mahogany combination is a popular choice due to the balanced but versatile sounds it produces, ideal for a range of musical styles.

The TW28 CLVS features a sturdy mahogany neck with a rosewood fingerboard that provides fast positioning for access to all the frets. Other quality additions include a rosewood bridge with nubone compensated saddle, chrome machine heads on a traditional headstock and D'Addario strings.
