The Sabian AAX 14'' Medium Hi Hats Br offer wide band and complex tone, whilst still offering ample articulation. This coming together of complexity and precision is achieved by a completely new hammering method. As a slightly thinner sounding medium hi-hat, this pair is ideal for studio recording. With a tight and crisp sound, the AAX Medium Hi Hats Br. have enough projection for use on stage and plenty of subtlety for use in the studio.
The Sabian AAX 16'' Thin Crash Br features a smaller raw bell than typically found on larger crash cymbals, which helps deliver a fast response. A new style of hammering has been used for the new AAX Thin Crash and it is much more visible on the surface, providing a stunningly vintage aesthetic.
The smaller, raw bell style offers more body for riding and increased crash-ability, as well as a well-defined 'ping'. With a medium weight, you get clear stick definition while retaining crash-ability. It's the perfect middle ground, all-around weight choice.
This thin weighted cymbal delivers a powerful, bright sound with a fast attack. This crash cymbal has a brilliant finish which enhances the high frequency notes, alongside providing a clean and shining appearance.
Sabian has always pushed the boundaries of innovation by using the latest manufacturing technology to answer new trends in music and sound. The latest cymbals in the AAX Series are no exception to this. Sabian listened to the praises and points of improvement from their audience and designed the new AAX cymbals in response. You asked for thinner, faster and more complex cymbals, and so Sabian ensured that they can make the best cymbals to suit the requirements of their audience.
With a completely new hammering style the new AAX cymbals produce a more complex and slightly darker sound. More high frequencies are introduced into the sound, resulting in a wider band of frequency, making for brighter highs and more complex lows.
The hammer marks are now much more visible on the surface of the cymbal due to a larger and rounder peen – making for great complexity of sound.
