DISC Sakae Cajon

Uniquely designed to be played on all four panels. The Sakae Cajon is designed from the ground up to be played on every surface, including the back and side panels. Constructed from thin plywood, the Sakae Cajon features a sturdy frame structure which creates a rich harmonic resonance. The tonality of each striking surface has been fine-tuned to ensure maximum versatility and expressive power by varying the thickness and number of plywood layers.

The resonator tension can be finely adjusted independently at both the top and bottom of the striking surface using the tuning pegs inside the Cajon. This adjusts the snare wires, providing a crisp sound and a quick decay.
